Halloween 1997 marks the final night of high school for Corey, Jango, and their skate crew, The Gromits. As teenage years are behind them and the threshold of adulthood looms ahead, Corey's past begins to resurface. When he crosses paths with Jonah—once a childhood companion now tormented by Jango's merciless nature—Corey feels a flicker of empathy and agrees to accompany him home as a gesture of nostalgia. What begins as a seemingly ordinary stroll through desolate suburban streets transforms into a surreal journey through shared memories and spectral remnants of their history. In this eerie exploration, Corey is struck by the surprising depth of their connection, revealing that even the most concealed truths can emerge from the shadows. This screenplay was honored with the Best Unproduced Screenplay Award at the 2011 New York Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
